PRIMARY FOCUS

  • Assist with various aspects of the contract review, negotiation, execution & management processes as required.
  • Assist with preparing, administering and maintaining confirmations for Crude, NGL & Natural Gas transactions in accordance with internal procedures and audit requirements.
  • Entering Crude & NGL contracts into Openlink (from Right Angle and Egistixs)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the legal components of the Crude,  NGL & Natural Gas contracts to identify & enter specific contract information into Openlink
  • Assist with the preparation of Crude, NGL & Natural Gas transaction negotiations and confirmations, review externally prepared Crude, NGL & Natural Gas transaction confirmations, and compare to internal systems, as applicable, to ensure deal parameters and any additional information are accurately reflected in the confirmation
  • Liaise with internal personnel to ensure correctness of transaction confirmation terms
  • Liaise with external counterparties to achieve mutually-acceptable transaction confirmation terms
  • Administer systems and/or database of all confirmations issued for execution in an organized and up-to-date manner
  • Records management, including scanning and electronically saving confirmations & contracts
  • Interacting, collaborating and supporting the Contract Administration Team
  • Other analyst & administrative duties as requested

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a Law Program OR working towards a Bachelor Degree in Commerce or related area.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Exposure to Word and Excel
  • Ability to work well alone & within a team environment
  • Positive attitude and self-starter
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, especially with handling sensitive documents and company information
  • Salary and job level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
